Trip down South - Newcastle

This is a post that is pretty overdue.. like a month overdue~ But late post better than no post right? :D So on the first week of Easter break I went down to Newcastle and Edinburgh to visit friends and generally just relax :) The original plan was that I got on the train at 5.30 in the morning and arrive in Newcastle at half 11. The reality was that I arrived at 3.30 in the afternoon? Why? Because there was a "landside accident" on the way down.. meaning someone decided to jump in front of the train I was in so that they can end their life. Honestly, the journey up and down were both kinda eventful. Anyways because of the "accident", the train was delayed by 3 hours and my entire journey was delayed by 4. Plan to stay in Newcastle for almost 2 days was now shortened to under 1.5. Anyways when I arrived, some friends came to the train station to pick me up and we went to this place called "bubble cha" (I think that's what it's called anyways and I had bubble tea :D :D The last time I had bubble tea was umm.. I can't remember the last time I had bubble tea. That's how long its been!!

Then we went for dinner in Chinatown~  Newcastle actually has a chinatown it's so good and I love chinese dinners they're amazing! Roast pork is my favourite! I think the name of the restaurant is called Norman's or maybe the guy who owns it is called Norman :P But anyways the food is amazing!

Next day~ Didn't actually do much but felt like a lot at the same time~ Went shopping in the morning then had a girly gathering where we cooked dinner! Actually one person cooked dinner, the rest of us just kinda helped to make ourselves feel better haha

Newcastle was amazing! Thank you to everyone who came out and for the lovely times~ even though you probably won't see this haha. I love you guys <3

First Ski Experience

The weather is so good right now it's actually unbelievable! Trust the sun to come out when I have a mid term tomorrow and have to revise eh, although I did actually go out shopping for a bit for mum's present~ Got her L'Occitane hand and foot cream, hope she likey :)

Anyways, even though the weather is amazing good at the moment, can you believe it was snowing just 2 weeks ago? It was actually snowing on and off for at least a week and even though there was no snow settled on the grounds, there was definitely enough snow for some sports :D So I went skiing at the Cairngorms with the guys!! Exciting times!

This was what I wore, I put on my hat and sunnies and apparently I looked like a new york manager, so the boys are my proteges ;) anyone looking for professional skiiers and snowboarders??

I think I can safely say that I was the worse one out of all of them, but can you blame me? First time skiing, the rest of them had experience! Still, think they got annoyed cause I was holding them back alot.. took us about 2 hours to get down the massive hill. Next time I think I should get some skiing lessons first. Time to save up!

One of the times when I fell.. When we finished for the day my whole back was actually covered in ICE! It was not a nice feeling.. brrrr cold!

Didn't have much opportunities to take pictures because my phone decided to die on me halfway, plus I was too tired! Although to be honest, I was tired even before I started skiing >< It was still a good day though and it was sunny which makes everything better by 10 times anyways :) Hopefully can try skiing again, maybe next year~

It's been so long...

The stress of uni is finally catching up and I once again apologise (whether it's to myself or anyone out there) for the absurd lack of blogs >< I have been diligently studying but I've also been diligently playing so I shall update a few blog posts in the next few days. I know I need to be more hardworking in terms of blogging... Maybe if I blog more I can look back in the future and see my young thought processes haha~ Man! I cannot imagine myself looking/being old.

For those of you who don't know, I work in a Chinese takeaway. The other day a customer came in and I was just chatting randomly to him when I mentioned the high school I used to attend (I can't remember if I told him I used to attend that high school or if I gave the impression that I was attending it atm but anyways...) he mentioned the name of his son and asked if I knew him cause he thought I was in the same year as his son. I asked him how old his son was and he said "15 almost 16" HAHAHA that was the best compliment I had that day!! Not that I get compliments everyday but I'm 20 going 21 this year and when someone tells you you look young, you feel good! I don't know if it's because of my height or face since personally I think that my face looks old but then to others it may not be right?

Yeah that was the random moment :P

Okay back to pancreases now! Fun... not ><
